We said good bye to our new friends on Monday and made it up the steep gravel road – we were very relieved to reach the top without any incidence despite encountering a few cars coming down the hill which forced us to change our line but we made it. Fuelled up in Litueche and continued to Santa Cruz where we arrived tired and dehydrated at 32 degrees. We grabbed some essentials at a Jumbo shopping centre and found a nice hostel where we stayed for the night. We went for dinner and had our first empamadas followed by a delicious lamb stew 👍😉
